So this is a strange one... in 2004, Eminem was at the peak of his popularity as an artist, and staged a mock political convention for Vh1, with his alter ego, Slim Shady running as president.
It is resurfacing today as Eminem has been outspoken about Trump, but at the time, Trump 'endorsed' Slim Shady during the convention.
In any case, the show aired on Vh1, and I was directing all the screen content on the LED in the background during the event. I worked with my frequent collaborator Brian Ziffer to create the various screen visuals.
The video above is just a sample., and the song is still controversial and timely to this day, especially given the Trump connection.
